"Maybe sometimes... freedom from situations that bring happiness is greater than the happiness it brings."
Think about it rather than laughing it off ... was there ever a something or someone that made you extremely happy? But being there OR doing that OR being with them was completely wrong? ...No? C'mon, there has to be! Think harder! ...we ALL have something we regret doing but it felt good doing it in the moment. Wouldn't you think that freedom from that happiness (that later brought you regret/disappointment) is greater than the situational happiness? Even though you were momentarily happy ...well, let me shorten that sentence: "momentarily happy"... that's all you were. Now you're living in your disappointment or regret, you may say to yourself "I did it because it made me happy." But oh my friend, that was very adolescent of you... you forgot about the consequences! But I, too fall prey to momentary excitment and happiness. Don't get me wrong! Trust me ...Victoria isn't the only one with a secret ;) ha-ha!
So, I guess the answer should be yes to my question...maybe?
